Village Board Meeting
July 12, 2010
Board Members Present: M. Joost, E. Kurkowski, A. Ruzicka, K. Olson, D. Pohl
Visitors: Dan Folan, Clifford Williams, Bob Scovill
President K. Trzebiatowski called the meeting to order at 7pm.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by D. Pohl to approve the minutes of the June meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by A. Ruzicka to accept the Treasurers report. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by D. Pohl to approve the July disbursements. Motion carried 5-0.
Bob Scovill 71st State Assembly candidate attended the meeting to get our opinions and find what our concerns are.
Cliff Williams wants Division Street closed from 5 to 12 pm on August 14th for a Street
Dance and on Tater Toot from 9 to 11 am for kids Sidewalk painting.
E. Kurkowski made a motion and seconded by M. Joost to close the Street on August 14th for the Street Dance. Motion carried 5-0.
E. Kurkowski made a motion and seconded by D. Pohl to close the Street on Tater Toot for the kids Sidewalk painting. Motion carried 5-0.
K. Olson made a motion and seconded by A. Ruzicka to adopt a Village of Almond Housing Code – Title 9 Land Usage-Chapter3- . Motion carried 5-0.
E. Kurkowski made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to dismiss the Collection Site worker because of a written complaint signed by two people, plus the previous written and oral complaints, depending on what the Town of Almond does. Motion carried 5-0.
M. Joost made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to advertise for the Collection Site job. Motion carried 5-0.
M. Joost made a motion and seconded K. Olson to buy a shutoff for the Library faucet. Motion carried 5-0.
Board of Review July 21st at 6pm and next meeting August 9th at 7pm.
M. Joost made a motion and seconded by K. Olson to adjourn at 9:10pm. Motion carried 5-0.
